IN4MATION, Hawaii’s leader in surf, skate and action lifestyle retail brand has teamed up with their Chinatown neighbor MOJO BARBERSHOP, Hawaii’s new premier men’s grooming and social club to offer a unique Father’s Day gift package that appeals to all men of Hawaii. The collection is designed and curated for the style-conscious father who lives an active and fun lifestyle. For the young father that surf and skates with his kids but still cares about what he wears and how his hair looks.
The father’s day gift package features a shirt co-designed by Kalani Fujimori, Mojo Barbershop’s creative director and Keith Kanagusuku, In4mation’s creative director. The design on the shirt is inspired by the look and feel of the tough, roaring 20’s era. The message on the design is somewhat secretive and hidden and signals to the location of the shops in Chinatown. After studying the design, one should come to the realization that the message is “Downtown Handsome Distribution Club”.
The collection also includes a customized stainless steel flask, a tin of Grants Royal Hawaiian pomade which is made by Hawaii native Grant Fukuda, a customized comb, and Antler & Co’s Campfire cologne. The entire package will be wrapped in butcher paper and sealed with a collaborative sticker. This package is of limited quantity and is priced at $60. The gift package is available for sale at In4mation’s downtown location (1154 Nuuanu Ave.), on In4mation’s online shop and at Mojo Barbershop (1157 Bethel St.). It will also be available at the HNL Night Market in Kakaa’ko on Saturday, June 15th (www.honolulunightmarket.com).
The collaboration between the two Chinatown shops located just a block away from each other showcases represents the culture and appeal of small local businesses offering unique shopping alternatives to the men of Hawaii.
